Results from Clive Emson's auction yesterday, 8th April 2005, were interesting.....
a studio flat in Rochester (lot 95) didn't sell at its guide price of 28,000 pounds.

It had previously sold for 20,500 in 2003; and 28,500 in June 2004.

http://www.cliveemson.co.uk for the auction results.

It's possible that this post referred to 12, Avery Court, Avery Way, Allhallows, Rochester, Medway, ME3 9QL

Number 10 didn't sell at the Ward and Partners auction this week either, and is available at £35,000

I still find houseprices in Rochester abolsutely obscene. A 2 bed, shoe box flat went for £165k.
