Apparently, proper Prescription Glasses have been Linked to Happiness: Link.

Oh, and race is also linked to happiness: Link.

Not to mention:
  • Blood pressure (link).
  • Laughter (link).
  • Rewarding careers (link).
  • Our genes (link), and, of course,
  • Dopamine (link).

Presumably, a cancer victim can be cheered up dramatically by a doctor telling the patient that they are cured, even if the doctor is lying.

Even complete fabrications may, it seems, lead to happiness. Who'd've thought it?

Bagsy me has the dopamine!

(And the serotonin, oxytocin and vasopressin as well!)

You can have the rest, I don't care smile.gif

Double benefit on that one, the doctor can say it was a joke and they can have a good chuckle and that Cancer will soon be gone.

I love my glasses, and, having walked past a Specsavers today with an advert for reduced price disposable contacts - still just over £15/month, I've realised what a bargain a pair of glasses are! I also have the feeling of being virtuous when I take in my old pair to be sent to Africa. smile.gif
