Request to Leytonstone inhabitants: I recently found my grandad's birth certificate dated 1879! He was born at 12, Chester Terrace, Cathall Road, Leytonstone. Does anyone know whether this address still exists? I had a look on Google Earth and although Cathall Road can be found, I have no idea if Chester Terrace still stands.

Don't know for sure, it is the other end from me, probably not though... there are quite a lot of recent builds all along that road not much if any of the victorian terraces are left

Thanks Bubble, my brother and I are intending to visit our late mother's family's addresses in the summer. She was born in Tooting, where both her parents are buried. My mum's funeral was just yesterday. God Bless Her.
