This is the view from my bedroom window.

Still, they've only been up for sale for three months now. I'm sure one of them must sell sometime.

Ah yes, forgot to mention that! Margate, Kent.

In the whole development there are 20 houses and 6 flats. All of the flats rented out within a week, only two of the houses have sold.

Akcherly, it's a lovely place to rent.

Two-bedroom flat, new build, gated and landscaped... although the developers seem to have run out of the money required to add the finishing touches.

Will be here 'til about 2010 then will buy again,

Eventually want a four-bedroom house over three storeys in Ramsgate, am thinking these will end up at £100,000.

I really don't know what they are. I have owned a few houses in my time, but my gardens never had those actual plants in them. My last garden had a Ford Cortina with no wheels parked in it and some cannabis plants, and that's all..

Still, my flat is only £525 pcm and people call around all the time to tidy the gardens up and pick up the litter. I think that's a fair deal seeing that the house I just sold is losing £1000+ per month.

And we've only just started.

Are you sure it's not a piece of conceptual art called 'Crash' by Tracy Emin? laugh.gif

That might explain the lack of buyers. The Triffids got 'em.

It is so sad to see all those for sale signs up. It really ruins the look of the place for the other residents. They are banned where I stay and the place looks a lot nicer for not having any sale/rent signs around.
