Barnsley has always had it's feet firmly on the ground, in comparison with it's more affluent neighbours in Sheffield and Leeds. Aspirational luxury apartments never caught on in Barnsley! BTL - is that part of the NCB? A local expression is 'too daft to laugh at!' Now the residents are probably chuckling to themselves as they put some more carbon on the fire in their cosy terraced houses paid for by Mrs Thatcher. wink.gif

Hey frankief, Ive always thought the north of england is so much more normal than the south. The weather is not so good tho :-( Glad to hear they're not as daft as the southerners.

Btw...a BTL is a f**ked up sandwich.

Looks like Flats no longer selling in Barnsley according Home.co.uk and terraced properties have dropped 10% over the last year!
