I assume that existing savers such as myself can't get 6% ?

They appear to have changed their minds now - at first they said new customers only but I think too many people pulled their money out (like me) . I just got a letter offering me 6%. Too late, I've had enough of their shenanigans and moved my cash elsewhere.

I think that 6% was a fixed bond 90 days notice or something, not instant access, lucinda.

I think it was existing customers only, give them a bell and ask them what it was about and if you can still take it out - that is if you want to.

I might put mine in Chelsea, but was concerned at how they're pushing BTL mortgages on their posters in their windows.

I withdrew all monies and then closed my account with them over the phone, the next day I called again and re-opened the account over the phone. Now getting their 6.0%.
