Hi,

was in pub last night with a good friend, he's the technical director of a mid size home building firm.

he dropped this into the conversation:

"Banks are now demanding full declaration from us on any home purchase deal, and are demanding that we sign a legal document stating that we have made a full declaration"

"so", i replied, "no more BMW's waiting in the garage in your new home then?"

"No more BMWs, no more cash backs, no more STAMP Duty paid's"

that really is all i know, but its interesting... another sign of banks been more careful with their money...
