We've been watching this knot of three houses near Brampton for a while now. They are actually just across the road from each other.

Number 1. Went on at £495,000, then went down to £449,000. Taken off over Christmas, went back on in the New Year at £465,000 with different agent, pretty rapidly fell to £419,950.

Number 2. Went on at £295,000, SSTC, came back on the market, now down to £275,000.

Number 3 (also owns Number 2). On the market originally for £575,000, now down to £495,000.

I had noticed these price drops too. Been looking in the Hexham area since October 2007.

This property sold in April last year for £315,000, went on the market for £339,950 sometime in autumn and now reduced to £325,000.

I've also noticed a few properties that were listed as under offer have recently become available again. I'm sure there are further reductions to come.........
