Hmm, I remember the last Tory attempt to persuade Asians to join, didn't go that great. Of course this is a feature of UK politics now - one leader from a community joins their whole 'clan' up to the relevant party. If they aren't given what they want, and they move to another party that makes a better offer, the clan will come with them.

I'm not sure this is good news for the conservatives, but on a wider scale Labour are still doing very well in local elections. Conservatives still have a lot to do to convince the electorate before the next general election to secure a working majority. Someone out there is voting Labour?????
