Just been reading your site and can I say I'm impressed. I may disagree with some things you say in the forums but that's part and parcel of debate and forum function. On the whole I enjoyed your site and thank you for the usefull links. Can you answer me one thing though. Do the links to the various legal pages cover Northern Ireland or just England?

Paul, I don't actually know, I would expect the legislation to be the same but tweaked much like a lot of Scottish Law, i will check the statute books. The OFT stuff is considered a guide to judges and is based on EU "unfair contracts" law so that definitely applies.

Glad you liked the website... and yes I know some of my posts are contraversal but as both and LL and a tenant I can see both sides of the story and I have expereinced the best and worse of both worlds. I friend on mine who would be considered and enermy of this forum once got his BTL back painted dark purple inside with dog dirt all over every room even on the walls, the tenant had no money so there was no point in going to court and he had to take it on the chin.
