When was a price for a 2-bed flat in London last seen like this?

The next Barnard Marcus auction on 7th Feb 2008 has a 2-bed flat with a guide price of £35,000 plus. (Lot 103A)

Flat 15, Bruce Castle Court, Lordship La, Tottenham, London, N17 6RR

Last week. And the week before. And the week before that. And..

It's called a "guide" price, but you need to multiply it by 3 to get the "reserve" price. Just another weak sales pitch to get the punters too attend.

oops

the previous lot, number 103 has the £35K plus guide price:-

"Building R/O 34 Adelaide Rd, Southall, Middlesex, UB2
Freehold Single Storey Detached Studio Flat Assured Shorthold Tenancy"

which looks like an elaborate shed, called a 'studio'

The Tottenham flat was withdrawn from the auction.

The studio that had the reserve of £35K was sold for £46K
