Anyone have any views on Newcastle Building Society? I see Moneysaving expert is recommending them now as a building society offering a good IR but... as MSE didn't seem to think the 35K limit was an issue until NR I now have doubts about that site.

So if anyone knows anything about how safe or unsafe Newcastle Building Society might be re all this subprime please post here.
