The site is slow from home and slow from work and I have no problem with other sites so it's not me.

I'm deliberately avoiding big threads now because they take so long to load.

Restrictions on sigs / avatars perhaps?

On a long thread just click the last page box not the whole lot.

Also - put the main forum page (list of threads) in Favourites as a side bar and click that to refresh - it loads quicker than the 'back' button.

ALso get rid of Norton - it's a virus you pay for.

Use firefox not Internet explorer

I agree, though Norton 360 is top notch compared to the old Norton shi+
Firefox is just so superior to IE. If you download it, make sure you get the following Add-ons:

Flash Block

Well pointed out Dames. smile.gif

I am on BT Yahoo and I can`t believe how long it takes to load the Log In page.

Many problems IMO are due to high Internet Traffic.

I remember the old days when 56k dialup was like lightning. cool.gif

Just because Internet Explorer has been cynically integrated into your windows operating system doesn't mean that you have to slavishly use it to browse the web (just as they knew you would).

I personally refuse to use software manufactured by monopolistic psuedo capitalist, crypto statist corporations.

Choose Firefox!

It's a way of life, you'll love it!
