I've see on the internet you can get 8.2%+ in a New Zealand savings account. Now how could I go about opening an account? This seems attarctive given the sterling is predicted to devalue agianst most major currencies.

I'd give up if i were you; unless you're a resident it's gonna be v. difficult

nationwide offshore offer major foriegn currency accounts (i.e. $, Euro and Yen)

but don't forget all UK / European offshore accounts now have to tell the taxman about your holdings - not that this may present a problem if you're sole reason is to shift savings from the £
