Just set-up my new 6.2% ISA with Halifax as A+L have shafted me by resetting my ISA from 5.9 to 5.65.

Halifax is fixed for a year - good job too as those f****ng muppets at the Bank Of England prepare to slash interest rates and cause huge inflation.

I'm braced for falls. During December, I set up a series of fixed rate bonds and accounts for 3 months, 1 year, 2 years & 3 years, and switched my Halifax cash ISA to fixed rate, too.

Now hoping interest rates won't shoot up, or there's some crisis that means I need to get at my money.
