hi folks

I note, that there are a number of threads based on how in relation to previous months, property sold at auctions in england is down this month, has anyone got a site for scottish property auctions where we can see how things are progressing?, as by and large we are not really seeing any movement up here in terms of prices, rather we have the issue of stagnating prices!

Shuggy ive noticed two properties in ardrossan listed with move 2 with a new offers over price only 5000 below origional oop but still havent noticed this happening before and they were both ex council flats. not sure how relevant this is but what i do think is relevant is that there was no mention of the price change ie new price etc. I think most people round here are delluded saying that because their property is still cheapep etc and hasnt caught up with the market in general that there will be no falls, but essentially they are missing the fact that property round here in ayrshire has trebled in the last 4/5 years so by my thinking it means it will fall harder than the slow gradual climbing areas.
What do you reckon?

Hiya

Yeah things are very overpriced IMHO, when you see levels of personal debt markedly increasing, then ayrshire is no different, also i think we will be more hit by unemployment in this region, as there are more service industry jobs here and potentially means harder price falls when the good times come to an end;), yes prices are lower than say england but so are average wages, is a few reductions according to propetysnake for kilmarnock, its all the waiting game now!:)
