Well, my piece was recorded this morning. I am told it will be in a package shown around 10am Friday but it will be subject to time change.

About 6.30 this morning they had Miles from Rightmove on, I may have been dreaming as it was early for me but when asked about the prospects over the winter he said a few months of drops. I then waited for him to follow-up with a "spring bounce" comment but he never did and I definately hadn't gone back to sleep by then!

So did Miles call the top?

I only watched that first half clip from YouTube - the usual treatment of the subject, completely dominated by estate agents who are never going to predict significant price falls, no matter what happens. After the dot com crash I can remember some City insider saying that he thought everyone understood what was meant by a "hold" recommendation for a share i.e. actually a "sell". Maybe "plateau" will turn out to have been code for "plunge" to an estate agent.

Sadly this was just more of the standard "Turkeys say no chance of Christmas" stuff from Bloomberg. I wish someone would just ask these people why, with the economy so strong and the housing shortage so acute, there should be any sort of slowdown at all.

I agree with your astute overview of the 30min feature (i.e. it's sh!te)

too bullish, too capital orientated, too much time for VIs
