After the crash?

Residential property is a depreciating asset class. How long are you planning on living?

The site will become run-down with only vagrants and drug addicts posting.

Eventually it'll close altogether and the domain name will become next to worthless.

I will then buy the domain, sit on it for a few years and ultimately make a fortune selling it when there's another housepricecrash boom.

If you were a regular you'd know this site crashes regularly. We find it part of the charm.

I expect it will end up being auctioned off by Allsops.

Oh come on people. The crash won't be over for a while yet - it's barely begun. Do you think the VIs and government will go quietly? Their propoganda will still litter the mainstream press and IMO there'll always be a need for a site like this to educate ordinary folk about what's really going on and what might happen next in the financial system.

The future of this site is assured. Whatever the economic situation there will always be permanent bears...some people are congenitally disposed towards the enjoyment of bad news. If not Apocolypse now, then Apocolypse postponed!

First of all we have to define WHEN the crash is deemed to be over! Last time that took, I'd say, 7 years; this time, I guess the general mood is that it'll take longer - so plenty of time to plan ahead!
