At the section where this is selected a very brief explanation of what this means should be stated as some new members select Bull or Bear and appear to have absolutely no idea what it means.

There can't be many who join who really don't know what bull and bear mean in the context of HPI/HPC.
More to the point, you may not know that everyone who joined before 19 July 2006 has the option of saying nothing at all about their market opinion, while everyone who joined after that date is obliged to declare themselves (the only piece of info about themselves they have to give!).
I have never seen this explained or justified by the mods. Would they care to do so please?
