Might need verifying as you're a new member. Maybe?

Is it within the guidelines for the forum - it's usually something like 90x90 and no bigger than 16kb in filesize? The specs are listed on the forum somewhere - try in your control panel maybe?

Are you sure you've set your Avatar and not your "Personal Photo"? ... I had this problem when I first set my picture. I'd set a Personal Photo in the most obvious settings section that I could find (clicking my name) ... but this is NOT your avatar. That gets set by clicking "My Controls" at the top of the page and selecting the "Edit Avatar Settings" link on the left.

I've noticed when I change my avatar it somestimes takes some time before the new one replaces the old one.

Yes you are right Bobsta. I added the picture as a personal photo. As you say it seemed the most obvious setting. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the Avatar settings. The avatar was added to my posts almost immediately.

Welcome Dic - good to have someone with such a worthy name. Saw nutter Meic Stephens lashing out a song about you at a recent Eisteddfod.
