Hi

Not being rude but;

I want to start a new thread where I can get the best of HPC's macro-economic, political, social world views without the UK-house buying noise (it's over for me and I can't be arssed reading more "just bought", "just sold", "it's all the Poles" etc). BUT, I don't engage with the GEI day-traders with their puts, stops, pips, and charts.

So is there a new place; either here or out there in the wilderness.

eg would love to discuss the growing influence of China's emerging innovation, NYC taxi drivers being forced to use GPS, the real risk of bank collapse (shows my age, I've got >35k cash and hpc.co.uk buggers scare me), storing data on Gmail- is it safe, gold - the slow metal?

and tons, and tons of other stuff

Jason
I see where you're coming from, although the issues you mention are discussed mostly in main forum. The biggest reason is most people keep an eye on that forum, rather than the others.

They are some good threads here, in the classics forum, and others, but they don't get many views so aren't contributed to enough.

An idea would be to move threads from the main forum, but they are problems with this as it would take the moderators a lot of effort moving threads to their appropriate forum, and it would mean those threads drop off the front page in the main forum very quickly, hence not getting the views and contributions which make them great.

crash2006
main forum is the most viewed thats why the posts are mixed now.
