NetHousePrice.com

has this in the corner of their front page:

Press
Our UK House price service has attracted a lot of press interest. (Press release)

Requests for interview, comment or house price analysis should be emailed to press and will receive a prompt reply. (Link)

Should HPC try something similar maybe?

It's a great pity that the forum lacks the services of a good PR agent who could orchestrate a press campaign to counter the vested interest propagandists. There is an awful lot of intelligent debate on HPC that would be meat and drink to journalists who are always on the look out for interesting angles to publish.

Unfortunately PR is not cheap, even the inexpensive agencies would probably want £1K a month as a retainer.
Bubble Pricker
I have been trying to get some more press coverage, but the issue is lack of time to do what a professional PR agent would do. If we have any regular posters with media contacts who would like to volunteer...

Print and sell T-shirts easy..

Simply black and white design containing the URL..

That way.

1. HPC'ers will being able to recognise kindred spirits in public

2. The logo will form the basis of advertising..

3. The launch of the tshirts will in itself be an event worthy (hopefully) of media coverage

We've actually talked about it before quite abit, had some T-Shirt designs put fowards too, it was good fun but thats how it stayed.

I almost got this printed for a laugh (created 11 March) there were some real good ones that came out with the HPC logo being used.

Chuz,

Been trying to find a good place to post the following. T shirt idea is a good one and another idea could be watermarked funny email attachments. Have put together a couple that i found across this site. Feel free to add them to your collection and use them as t-shirt prints. Or send them on as email attachments.

I could knock up some artwork for some flyers if anyone has any suggestions.

I've been playing around with a bit of artwork today in a quiet spell at work!!

Webmaster I'm not sure if I can use the HPC logo blink.gif , but it's for a good cause!

The pic is only low res as the boards wouldn't let me upload the original PDF.
Winners and Losers
Brilliant. Take the t-shirts to markets and they will faster than hotcakes (or a shoebox in London for 500,000k) - the studenty, young and ftb's will love them. Suddenly, they will become fashion, THE latest thing to be seen in and THEN they will start talk about HPC. Someone could make a fortune towards their deposit! What we need is someone with fashion links!

Here is another one I found on this site... send as attachment to your mates!
