There have been a few times i have wanted to send a private message, lots of users dont have the ability to send and recieve them? Why cant everyone have private messages, it seems the site disables them for some users....

The PM feature is disabled for people in the 'New Members' group. This feature was abused in the past so is now only available to people in the 'Members' group who are manually vetted before being upgraded.

We understand that this can be frustrating at times but there are good reasons behind this.
