...when i see people on this site being bitter and ranting about just about everyone it makes me sad.
It seems everyone gets the blame for you not being able to afford a flat or house other than yourself.
Have people ever thought of taking a bit of personal responsibility for their situations instead of moaning about government, sheeple, btl, oldies, immigrants, developers, planners, surveyors and the rest?
Maybe you need to set realistic expectations or retrain to get a job which pays more.
Lots of English people unfortunately are being out skilled from well paying jobs as well as undercut on the cheaper ones by immigrants who (for the rubbish paid jobs) are prepared to work harder than their English counterparts, and in the well paid jobs by European professionals with more languages / financial training, etc.
Employers now look all over the world for their labour and its about time a lot of HPCers woke up to this and trained up their skills, or worked harder and then they may find they are able to afford a flat to buy. Otherwise they really will have missed the boat.
