someone must be pulling the strings

it's very hard to make money in a flat market and now i guess the smart VI's have sold their property and want to move on with the crash so that they can buy at the bottom just like we do.

a toast to the VI's i say

Three weeks ago I put my house on the market, 3 bed semi, I had 3 evaluations - 285k, 300k, 315k - we went with the highest evaluation. We had 3 offers within 2 weeks - the highest of which was 1k over asking price at 316k. Since then there has been a bidding war, pushing the price up to 320k - final.

Not bad eh ...... 3 weeks on the market and sold to a person with no chain and cash to hand.

Amazing to think that 8 months ago a previous evaluation had the highest of 3 evaluations as 285k.

You could say we have made 35k in 8 months.

Yep: I can't help thinking that all this talk of a UK HPC is just wishful thinking on the part of a lot of members. wink.gif
