The HPC discussion always centres around what is happening or what could happen in the greater UK or to some extent the US economy. What would be really useful, particularly because the current HPI predictions are frankly so unuseful is more economic data.

A monthly update and graph of UK unemployment.

A graph of US interest rates

A graph of Euro interest rates

A graph of UK MEWing rates

Information on UK growth forecasts/actual

Oil prices graphs

CPI and RPI graphs.

Graphs of UK debt

Graphs of UK borrowing rates seperated by loans, mortgages and credit cards

Whether a HPC occurs or not is almost completely reliant on what happens to the much of the above. And rather have discussions that go around in circles a page which contains all this data would be extremely useful, especially to new users of the site.

Please anybody add to this list what else you think might be useful.

I believe that the crash is about to go full speed ahead. All of the data above is pointing to it and it would be great to be able to track that data and display it to users of the site to help show why there is going to be an HPC and that it is not all about best guessing.
